You can only go so fast.

Everybody wants to go faster and iterate quicker. You can only do that to a point. Look at the combustion engine; it has a natural limit to how fast it can go. You can bolt on turbos, different fuel, compressors, air coolers, etc, but eventually, you top out.

Once you hit that limit, you must stop trying to find efficiencies and reinvent the engine. If you keep trying to find efficiencies in the system, that efficiency drive reduces the efficacy of other systems. Your attention is diverted, and your goal is distracting.

You need to take a step back and evaluate if you need to reinvent the process OR question why the desire to go faster is valid.
